Overview

CompatibL has been launched in May of 2003 by Alexander Sokol, founder of NumeriX.

CompatibL’s business is split approximately 50/50 between custom development and product licensing. The company currently has 58 staff. CompatibL is headquartered in Princeton, NJ and has three development centers in Eastern Europe and one in Canada. CompatibL is independently funded and operated and has shown over 50% annual growth over the past 3 years.

The architecture and quantitative analytics oversight at CompatibL is provided by Alexander Sokol, who over the course of his work as NumeriX CTO and Chief Software Architect supervised development of the entire product line of NumeriX covering both mathematics and software engineering aspects of development. While at NumeriX, Alexander also managed a number of major custom software development projects involving the integration of NumeriX with in-house and vendor trading and risk systems and related custom software development.

Many of the consulting firms specializing in risk management and pricing analytics have little expertise in user interface design or enterprise application development. Likewise, many of the firms specializing in user interface design and development do not have deep  understanding of quantitative analytics or risk models and data requirements.

CompatibL offers a unique advantage of being able to perform equally well in both areas. We have a track record of delivering complete solutions which included user interface and server code as well as quantitative analytics.
