CompatibL is a software and custom development company founded in 2003 and currently employing 140+ people worldwide. CompatibL's customers today include some of the largest and most respected banks and hedge funds worldwide, including 3 of the top 5 US banks.
CompatibL's founder and CEO is Alexander Sokol. Prior to starting CompatibL, Dr. Sokol has been founder and Chief Technology Officer of Numerix, a leading provider of derivatives analytics, where he worked from 1996 to 2003. While at Numerix, he designed the first versions of the software products that are used by 400+ banks and financial services firms in 25 countries.
Software
CompatibL's flagship software product is CompatibL Analyst, a revolutionary application which has the ease of use of a traditional technical computing environment while making it possible to write code in programming languages used by production software such as C# or C++. By avoiding the need to port the software from the technical computing language to the production software language, CompatibL Analyst dramatically shortens the path from the creation of a new algorithm to its use in production.
